Ben Affleck Tells Congress 5 Million Have Died in Congo Since 1998 But Says U.N. Has Not Failed in its Mission There | CNSnews.com: "In making the case for increased U.S. involvement in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Academy award-winning actor Ben Affleck told Congress that 5 million people had died in that country since 1998 from civil conflict. After the hearing, Affleck told CNSNews.com that the United Nations had not failed in its mission in the Congo."
So, a couple of questions:
- Why is this clown testifying to Congress in the first place? What qualifies him as any kind of expert on anything? He's little more than a circus clown from what I can see.
- How is 5 million dead a success? See point 1.
