Obama has been saying all along that he’s not to blame for the current state of the economy — that he inherited a much worse mess than people understood at the time, and it’s been a constant struggle to keep the US economy limping along even at this pace. If that were really true, would Obama ever forget how bad the Great Recession actually got? If it’s that forgettable, then maybe Obama should have had things fixed up by now … and if he couldn’t, why give him another four years to keep screwing it up?"
